Warehouse Manager - Baycrest Distribution (Bala, ON)

With continued growth on the horizon, we're seeking a Warehouse Manager who is ready to lead a high-performance warehouse team and ensure flawless execution in every task.

What's the role?
As our Warehouse Manager, you'll take charge of day-to-day warehouse operations and be the go-to person for all things related to inventory, order fulfillment, and team coordination. You will work closely with leadership, sales, and logistics to ensure customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Daily Duties:

  • Receive and input new inventory with accuracy and care
  • Review and confirm orders and related documents
  • Fulfill customer and internal orders with quality control checks
  • Schedule outgoing deliveries and coordinate logistics
  • Build and maintain showroom displays and product prototypes
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to warehouse team members
  • Troubleshoot order, stock, or workflow issues as needed
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and running efficiently
  • Use computer systems (Microsoft Office, Trello, inventory software, email, etc.) for scheduling, tracking, and communication
  • Occasionally assist in the retail store when front-end staff are away or during peak periods

What we're looking for:
✔ 2+ years of warehouse or logistics leadership experience preferred
✔ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

✔ Comfortable using a variety of power tools and running snow removal equipment

✔ Experienced forklift operator preferred
✔ Confident using computers and order management systems
✔ Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
✔ A natural leader who can motivate and direct a team
✔ Familiarity with decking, dock, or building materials is a bonus
✔ Physically capable of lifting, moving, and managing materials
✔ A solutions-oriented thinker with a proactive approach

Receptionist / Office Administrator

We've been proudly serving our customers for over 10 years, and as the exclusive Canadian retailer of OC Lumber, we're growing fast and aiming even higher. We're currently looking for a Receptionist / Office Administrator who is proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-service driven to keep our operations running smoothly.


What's the Role?

This is a dynamic role where no two days are exactly the same. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors and customers while also handling back-end administration that keeps the business moving.

Your Daily Duties Will Include:

🧩 Customer Relations

  • Answer phone, email, and walk-in inquiries with professionalism.
  • Resolve basic customer concerns or escalate when needed.
  • Keep customer records up to date using Lightspeed.

📋 Order Processing

  • Enter and manage orders through Lightspeed and Trello following our SOPs.
  • Coordinate with sales and operations to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Update order status and communicate progress to customers or sales reps.

🛎️ Reception

  • Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate team members.
  • Handle sales inquiries when sales reps are not available.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and organized.
  • Handle mail and deliveries.
  • Run errands when needed.

📦 Purchasing

  • Assist in placing and tracking purchase orders for inventory and special orders.

💳 Invoicing & Payments

  • Prepare and send accurate invoices to customers.
  • Payment processing, keeping accurate transaction records.
  • Support the Finance team by following up on outstanding payments.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in an administrative, office, or customer service role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Experience with Trello or Lightspeed is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
